Hi everyone, This is a question for both moms and doctors here. Last month when I had my anamoly scan, there was a calcium deposit noticed in the heart of foetus. While My gynae confirmed that it is not harmful and is also common to have, want to ask other moms and doctors here about their views, based on any past self-experience or knowledge regarding this. Being a mom, a corner of heart gets worried sometimes thinking about this. Thanks a lot in advance.

Where am I?

If you are talking about echogenic intracardiac focus we have to see other factors if your NT scan , Anomaly scan is normal and if there is no risk factor in your pregnancy then isolated (single ) finding of this soft tissue marker is normal in many cases..if your obstetrician has already confirmed it as normal then don't worry...
